Phishing attacks are one of the most common cyber threats facing organisations today.
Phishing is a form of social engineering where attackers deceive individuals into divulging sensitive information. They include scam emails or text messages that contain links to websites which may contain malware or may trick users into revealing sensitive information (such as passwords) or transferring money.
Staying vigilant and informed is our best defence against these types of cyber attacks.
Remember to report any suspicious emails you receive to The National Cyber Security Centre using the report@phishing.gov.uk email address.
