DSIT has launched a funding opportunity for cyber security initiatives across Northern Ireland and England. A total of £1.3 million is being made available for organisations such as universities, local councils and businesses to provide cyber skills training, and fund organisations developing new innovations in cyber defence. Delivered by Innovate UK, applications for the scheme open today and will see grants of between £25,000 and £150,000 awarded to winning applicants by March 2025.
How to apply:
For organisations in Northern Ireland who would like to apply for funding, you will first need to submit an expression of interest for consideration by the Northern Ireland Cyber Local Steering Group before 27 September. Once your application has been considered and endorsed by the Steering Group you will be able to submit a full application for funding DSIT's partners Innovate UK, which must be completed by 9 October.
