CISP - Connect Inform Share Protect

CISP is a secure platform for Cyber Security Professionals in the UK to collaborate on cyber threat information in a secure and confidential environment. It is managed by NCSC and membership is free.

As a CISP member you can:

  • Connect: Connect with other people in your sector or region, make new contacts and grow your network.
  • Inform: Inform yourself by learning from the information available on the platform.
  • Share: Share your knowledge with other members on the platform, and also share new knowledge from CISP in your own organisation subject to Traffic Light Protocol (TLP).
  • Protect: Protect your network against cyber threats, helping to make the UK the safest place to live and work online.

All content on CISP is marked with a TLP category which clearly shows to members how they can use the information shared. More information on TLP categories and how to use them can be found on CISP.

Who can join CISP?

  • You must work in a UK organisation, in the public or private sector.
  • You must have a responsibility for IT or cyebr security in your role.
  • Applications from outside the UK are only accepted if you represent an organisation that has a presence in the UK, and you have a responsibility for cyber security within UK operations.
  • staff in regulatory organisations who have responsibility for the regulator’s own cyber security and have no role in regulatory activity
  • Applications from academics and students are not accepted.

Joining CISP

If you are interested in joining CISP you must fill out the form. To become a member on CISP you must first be approved by NCSC. Your application may be sent to a Regional Organised Crime Unit as part of the verification process.

Joining Communities

There is a Northern Ireland community on CISP for organisations based in Northern Ireland to share specific sector and regional threats.
